Juniper Green Energy and SJVN Inks PPA

Juniper Green Energy has announced a landmark Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN, securing a 320 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy contract. This agreement sets the stage for the development of approximately 1 GW of capacity across two states Gujarat and Rajasthan.

This 25-year PPA, secured at a tariff of ?4.38 with state utility SJVN reinforces our commitment to sustainable energy and our strategic goals for growth. As our single largest project execution to date, this PPA propels our operational and under-construction capacity to an impressive 2.5 GW.

With this PPA, the Company ventures into more complex and technical solutions to provide firm and dispatchable renewable energy with energy storage and hybrid power projects. Through this project, we anticipate an annual generation of 2,179 MU, which will offset approximately 20,41,811 tonnes of CO2 annually. Moreover, these initiatives are expected to significantly enhance energy access for approximately 4.34 lakh households, fostering substantial community development and supporting regional sustainability efforts.
