KIOCL signes Power Purchase Agreement
BANGLORE. KIOCL has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with MNRE/SECI approved, M/s Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd on December 26 , 2016 at the corporate office, Bangalore in the presence of Shri Malay Chatterjee CMD, Directors and other senior officers of KIOCL limited.
With this agreement, Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd is setting up a 380kwp grid connected roof top solar power plant under RESCO model at the area available on the roof tops of the existing buildings located at the Blast Furnace Unit & Pellet Plant Unit, Mangalore.
This project will fulfill the obligation towards the non-renewal energy source as a part of Government of India’s initiative wherein 40,000 MW has to come from roof top solar system by the year 2022.
