Kochi refinery declared winner in innovation awards 2018-19
New Delhi: Bharat Petroleum Refineries and R&D Centre received recognitions at 24th Refining and Petrochemical Technology Meet, organised under aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MOP&NG) in Bengaluru, for contribution, which made significant improvements in energy efficiency and innovation.
Meet with the theme “Driving Refining and Petrochemicals towards Sustenance” was inaugurated by Dr. M. M. Kutty, Secretary, MOP&NG. Kochi Refinery was declared ‘Winner’ in ‘Innovation Awards 2018-19’ under ‘Best Innovation in Refinery’ category for BPMARKK (Usage for Predicting Crude Yields).
Our Corporate Research & Development Team declared ‘Winner’ in ‘Innovation Awards 2018-19’ under ‘Best Innovation in R&D Institute’ category for ‘K Model: Quick & Accurate Prediction of Crude Oil Blend Compatibility and Blend Optimisation of N Number of Crude Oils’
Ram Nivas Kushvaha and Ajay Mondal from Mumbai Refinery received the Commendation Certificates for ‘Innovation in Refinery’ for their work in ‘In-line Crude Blending’
