Mumbai: Hon’ble Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing & Urban Affairs Shri Hardeep Singh Puri visited BPCL's Corporate office on Friday, April 22, 2022. He engaged with the senior management and reviewed company’s plans & performance.
Earlier in the day Hon’ble Minister visited our Mumbai Refinery which is spread over 454 acres, this refinery was commissioned in 1955 as Asia’s largest refinery. It is one of the most versatile refineries in India and excels in all aspects like quality, technology, energy, human relations, safety, environmental friendliness and operating cost..
Today with annual capacity of 12 MMT, it processes more than 96 types of crude, while more than 90% of the products are evacuated through pipelines.
