Dhanbad: Mr. Bhola Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has been awarded the prestigious IMMA Excellence Award 2023 for his invaluable contribution to the Indian mining sector. The award was awarded at the National Seminar on Challenges and Opportunities (Mico-23) in Dhanbad on 20-21 January 2023.
The Indian Mines Managers Association (IMMA) held the Mico-23 National Seminar on the completion of its 100 years of establishment, attended by mining professionals across the country. In this two-day seminar, mining sector veterans deepened the demand, challenges, and opportunities with the country's growing economy and presented their views.
Notice that NCL's CMD Mr. Bhola Singh is a professional mining engineer with over 35 years experience in reputed public and private sector national and multinational coal mining companies. As well as known for enormous technical knowledge and effective leadership skills Goes on. Shri Singh started his services as a graduate engineer trainee from NCL in 1987 after doing B.Tech (Hons) in Mining Engineering from the country's reputed institute IIT Kharagpur.
Mr. Bhola Singh took charge as President-Co-Managing Director of NCL in January 2022. Mr. Bhola Singh's effective leadership skills and his long experience in the coal industry, NCL has set new records in production and dispatch along with quarrel security, quality, infrastructure strengthening, environmental protection.
Shri Bhola Singh has also received prestigious National Security Award from His Excellency President of India in 2017 due to his excellent performance in coal mining field.
