NCL, CMD visited NSC Jayant; took stock of preparations related to COVID
Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) CMD & Director (Finance & Personnel) visited Nehru Shatabdi Hospital.
Madhya Pradesh/Singrauli: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) CMD Shri Bhola Singh and Director (Finance & Personnel) Shri RN Dubey visited Nehru Shatabdi Hospital, Jayant on Friday. CMD inspected various departments of the hospital. He also inquired about the status of OPD, emergency facility, oxygen plant, canteen, etc.
The CMD and Director (Personnel) called upon the doctors to discuss the hospital arrangements and work on a war footing to make the possible third wave of covid ineffective. During this, he himself inspected the covid Testing Center, covid Ward, Oxygen Plant, Dialysis Section, Pathology and other necessary facilities of the hospital and gave appropriate instructions.
He also stressed providing better medical facilities to NCL employees and beneficiaries. General Manager (Personnel) Mr. Charles Juster and Principal Medical Services, NCL Dr. SK Bhowal were also present on the occasion.
Nehru Shatabdi Chikitsalaya is the largest fully equipped 150 bedded hospital in the Singrauli region which provides medical services to the nearby beneficiaries along with the personnel. Two Oxygen Plants of 600 LPM capacity are also operating in Nehru Hospital.
For the employees, NCL has provided facilities of 10 dispensaries and 3 hospitals in various projects and units. There is also a fleet of 46 ambulances which includes ICU, Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support ambulances.
