NCL Commissions New Hydraulic Excavator
Singrauli: A new Hydraulic excavator was commissioned in the Kakri OCP of Northern Coalfields Ltd. The new hydraulic excavator has a bucket capacity of 11 cubic meters and is equipped with state of the art technology and has a host of safety features.
Northern Coalfields Limited, The Miniratna company of GOI and subsidiary of Coal India Limited has inaugurated a hydraulic excavator at its Kakri OCP strengthening its heavy machine muscle.
CMD NCL Shri P K Sinha inaugurated the Hydraulic excavator in an e-ceremony organized on Monday due to the COVID-19 Pandemic through video conferencing. Director (Personnel), NCL, Shri Bimlendu Kumar, Director (Technical / Operations) Dr. Anindya Sinha, Director (Finance) Mr. Ram Narayan Dubey also joined the event.
Speaking on the occasion, CMD NCL Shri P K Sinha said that the introduction of new machinery will help us to meet the increasing production targets. Reiterating the contribution of employees amid the COVID period, he said the company is expected to once again surpass its fiscal targets. He asks all the employees to take due safety measures and remain healthy in difficult COVID-19 times.
The newly commissioned hydraulic excavator has a bucket capacity of 11 cubic meters and is equipped with the latest modern technology and safety features.
NCL operates with its 10 opencast Coal Mines in Singrauli and Sonbhadra District of M.P. and U.P with a fleet of more than 1200 HEMM. Production in NCL is highly dependent on heavy machines deployed in its coal mines.
The introduction of this machine in the Kakri Project's fleet will not only ensure production targets but the enhanced safety and productivity.
