NCL produced 103.93 MT of Coal in February month
Singrauli: Northern Coalfields Limited produced 103.93 MT of Coal with 6% YoY growth till the end of February month of the current fiscal. The Coal produced during the above period is more than the target till date. Dispatch of 98.29 MT of coal was also done during this period while 348.63 Million Cubic Meter of Overburden was removed with19.46% YoY growth.
Overburden is material above the coal seam, that is required to be removed for coal exposure and is an important factor in indicating the growth of the company. The target for coal production in 2020-21 is 110.50 MT.
