NFL records net profit of rs 108 cr in Q3
New Delhi: NFL has earned a Net Profit of Rs.108 Cr in 3rd Quarter (Oct-Dec) of 2019-20. Company's Financial Results were declared after its Board Meeting on 31st Jan.
Company recorded a growth of 23% in total Fertilizers Sale in Q3 at 16.65 LMT compared to 13.57 LMT in CPLY. With this, total Revenue from Operations of the Company reached to Rs. 3737 Cr.
A major push to fertilizer sale came from trading of imported fertilizers (including Urea of Govt. Account) where a quantum growth of 124% was reported at 6.50 LMT compared to 2.90 LMT in Q3 last year.
During the first nine months (April-Dec) of current financial year, the total Fertilizers Sale increased by 25% to 43.73 LMT against 35.09 LMT in CPLY. The company recorded Urea sale of 36.17 LMT during these months compared to 30 LMT during the same period in 2018-19. With this, the total Revenue from Operations reached Rs. 9946.30 crore compared to Rs. 9157.10 crore reported in first nine months of 2018-19.
Commenting on successful Q3, Sh Manoj Mishra, CMD, credited all NFL employees for putting in their best efforts.
