NHPC pays interim dividend of rs 840.96 cr to GOI
Faridabad. NHPC has paid an interim dividend of Rs. 840.96 crore to Government of India for the financial year 2019-20 on March 3rd, 2020.The dividend payout bank advice was presented to R.K. Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) (Power and New & Renewable Energy) & Minister of State (Skill Development and Entrepreneurship) by A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC on March 4th 2020 in the presence of Shri Sanjiv Nandan Sahai, Secretary (Power) ,Shri Aniruddha Kumar, Joint Secretary (Hdro), and Shri N.K. Jain, Director (Personnel), Shri Mahesh Kumar Mittal, Director (Finance), Shri Janardan Choudhary, Director (Technical) from NHPC.
NHPC had paid interim dividend of Rs. 526.53 crore to Government of India for the fiscal 2018-19.NHPC has earned net profit of Rs. 2624.26 crore for the nine months ended FY 19-20 as against the previous period corresponding figure of Rs. 2138.26 crore.
