NHPC's Teesta-V Power Station prevented massive fire accident at Dipudara, Gangtok
The fire was brought in control by the Power Station thereby preventing a major fire accident.
NHPC prevented massive fire near Dipudara
Gangtok, Sikkim: The Fire Safety Division of NHPC Teesta-V Power Station, Sikkim responded quickly to a massive fire on the night of 18th March 2022 near Dipudara, Gangtok Distt. (Sikkim).
After receiving the emergency call from the local community & local administration, the Fire Safety Division team reached the spot within 25-30 minutes with a capacity of 6500 Litres of Water & High-Pressure Range and started dousing the flames.
Another team at Balutar, Gangtok district kept ready one more water tanker with 9000 litre capacity for switch response. The fire was brought in control by the Power Station thereby preventing a major fire accident.
