NLCIL to provide Breakfast
Neyveli: Dr. Sarat Kumar Acharya, CMD, NLCIL inaugurated the Breakfast Scheme for students of Higher Secondary Session this morning (25.09.2017) at NLCIL Girls’ H.S.School, Neyveli to commemorate the Birth Centenary Celebrations of (25.09.1916) Pandit Deen Dhayal Upadyayaji.
Dr. Acharya, in his inaugural address said that the students of today should make their parents proud with their academic performances. NLCIL is to provide Nutritious Breakfast for the Students of Higher Secondary Session through its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives spending Rs.1.25 Crore per annum.The Scheme will provide Breakfast for 2000 students of the three Higher Secondary Schools of NLCIL to enable them boost performance in both in Curriculum and the Extra-Curriculum on School Working Days. The Special Feature of the Scheme is providing Breakfast for the students during Special Classes on Holidays. The management of Sneha Opportunity Services will implement the scheme with through their Food outlet Amrita-Poushika to cook food using equipment at mass scale ensuing Quality, Quantity, Hygiene, and while keeping timings.
