NRDC Inks MoU with AP Government to Promote Startups
Vishakhapatnam: National Research Development Corporation (NRDC), New Delhi and Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society (APIS) signed an MoU on 11th Sept., 2017 in presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister, Sri N. Chinarajappa, Hon’ble Minister of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Information Technology and Communications, Sri Nara Lokesh, Hon’ble Minister of Human Resources Development, Sri Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Member of Parliament, Sri Vijayanard, Secretary IT and galaxy of dignitaries from India and 30 foreign countries, During the Valedictory Function of a three day International Innovation Fair held at Vishakhapatnam.
The MoU was signed by Dr. H. Purushotham, Chairman and Managing Director of NRDC and Prof. Valli Kumari, CEO of APIS. The Hon’ble Chief Minister expressed his happiness about the partnership between APIS and NRDC and announced the creation of Rs. 100 Crore fund for the promotion of innovators and start-ups, through APIS which has four states of the art plug and play technology business incubators in Vishakhapatnam, Tirupati, Anantapur and Kakinada. Under this MoU, NRDC and APIS will help the students, entrepreneurs, and start-ups in the state.
