CMD NRDC Signed an MoU with Ambassador of Tanzania
New Delhi: National Research Development Corporation, (NRDC) has entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tanzania Industrial Research and Development Corporation, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (TIRDO) during the Ninth session of India- Tanzania Joint Commission Meeting (JCM) - 2018 held on 16th Oct 2018. Minister of External Affairs, Government of India, Smt. Sushma Swaraj co-chaired the Joint Commission Meeting.
The agreement was signed by Dr. H Purushotham, CMD, NRDC and Ambassador Ramadhan Muombwa Mwinyi, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation (MFAEAC), TIRDO in presence of Smt. Sushma Swaraj and Ambassador Dr. Augustine P Mahiga, Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania and other senior dignitaries from India and Tanzania.
Under this MoU, NRDC shall set up for setting up of a Technology Demonstration Centre to exhibit, demonstrate the functioning of several technologies which are typically suitable for Tanzania and to facilitate the training of the entrepreneurs in Tanzania for operating of these machines, which will help in setting up of large number of micro, small and medium enterprises and start ups in Tanzania.
