The gas for the power plant is sourced from the GAIL HBJ Pipeline-South Basin Gas field. The source of water for the power plant is the Auraiya-Etawah Canal. NTPC Auraiya's Amla Amrit Project stands as a beacon of empowerment, supporting self-help group women in crafting amla products. Through skill development and community collaboration, these women are not only generating income but also promoting wellness, transforming a humble fruit into a symbol of prosperity and pride.

On the auspicious occasion of International Women’s Day, the NTPC project glorifies ‘The Amla Alchemists,’ a captivating photo story that offers a glimpse into the daily lives of the women who are actively engaged in the Amla Amrit Project under CSR initiatives of NTPC Auraiya.
