NTPC Financial Results Q1 FY 23: Profit jumps by 16.87% in first quarter 2023
The Power PSU generated 104.42 Billion Units in Q1 FY23 as compared to 85.81 Billion Units in Q1 FY22, an increase of 22%.
New Delhi: NTPC reported the Profit after Tax jumps by 16.87% (Standalone) & 15.51% (Consolidated) in Quarter First of Financial Year 2023. The company with a present group installed a capacity of more than 69 GW, and declared unaudited financial results for Q1 FY23 on 29th July 2022.
The Power PSU generated 104.42 Billion Units in Q1 FY23 as compared to 85.81 Billion Units in Q1 FY22, an increase of 22%.
NTPC’s standalone gross generation in Q1 FY23 is 86.88 Billion Units as compared to 71.75 Billion Units in the corresponding previous period, registering an increase of 21%.
NTPC Coal stations achieved a Plant Load Factor of 80.39% as against the National Average of 69.49% during Q1 FY23.
On a standalone basis, total income of NTPC for Q1 FY23 is Rs 39,202.74 crore as against corresponding previous period total income of Rs 26,802.25 crore, registering an increase of 46.27%. PAT for Q1 FY23 is Rs 3,676.43 crore as against Rs 3,145.63 crore in Q1 FY22, registering an increase of 16.87%.
On consolidated basis, total income of the group for Q1 FY23 is Rs 43,560.72 crore as against corresponding previous period total income of Rs 30,390.60 crore, registering an increase of 43.34%. PAT of the group for Q1 FY23 is Rs 3,977.77 crore as against corresponding previous period PAT of Rs 3,443.72 crore, registering an increase of 15.51%.
