NTPC Singrauli team emerged as the winners of the Vigilance Quiz 2019
NEW DELHI. NTPC Singrauli team emerged as the winners of the National Finale of ‘NTPC Vigilance Quiz 2019’ held at NTPC Dadri . Team from DBF & Hydro region (NTPC Dadri) emerged as the 1st runner up while team from Corporate Centre grabbed the 2nd runner up position. The NTPC ‘Vigilance Quiz 2019’ covered questions on aspects of vigilance and general studies which was appreciated by the participants.
The quiz saw participation from Western Region-II (NTPC Lara), Northern Region (NTPC Singrauli), two teams from DBF & Hydro Region (NTPC Dadri & NTPC Faridabad), two teams from Corporate Centre.
NTPC Vigilance Quiz 2019’ has been organised by NTPC for wards (Class IX to XII) of NTPC employees prior to the Vigilance Awareness Week, which starts from 28th October 2019 till 2nd November’2019. The Vigilance Awareness Week is observed annually to promote integrity, transparency and accountability in everyday life.
Shri Rajit Punhani, Chief Vigilance Officer (NTPC), Shri Rakesh Prasad, ED (HR), Shri A.K. Das, CGM, Dadri, Ms. Vijaya Lakshmi Muralidharan, Head of HR (Dadri) presented the awards to the winning teams.
The top three teams walked away with prize money of Rs. 10,000, Rs. 8,000 and Rs. 6,000 respectively along with certificates. Shri K. M. Prashanth, Head of Corporate Communications (NTPC) conducted the quiz with questions ranging from varied areas of vigilance and general studies which was appreciated by the participants.
