NTPC Swayamsiddha Ladies Club celebrates Annual Day with grandeur

NTPC Mining Limited's Women's Welfare Wing celebrated its Annual Day Celebration with grandeur. Chief Guest of the occasion, Shri Animesh Jain, Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining) & CEO(NML) & Shri Rekha Jain, President, Swayamsiddha Ladies Club inaugurated the program with lighting of lamps in the august presence of dignitaries.

The theme of the annual day celebration was “Utsav (Celebrate) –The Joy of Self Discovery”.

Addressing the gathering, Smt Jain said that the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club has been contributing to the society through its various welfare & CSR initiatives like providing skill development training i.e. computer training to underprivileged, providing essential food items etc to the less fortunate. All the initiatives were undertaken by the club due to the combined efforts of members.

She conveyed her gratitude and thanks to the members for the contributions in organizing various activities throughout the year including workshops for skill development for members & called upon the members for standing as one united family & making a lasting impact on the society around us. Smt Jain concluded with remarks that “let us be the change, we want to see the change in the society”.

The program saw some enthralling inhouse cultural performances with huge participation by ladies' club members, children & employees which made the evening very special and engaging. Various quiz and interactive games were organised, and winners were felicitated.

On the occasion, Shri Rajnish Rastogi, CGM(HR), Shri AP Shrivastava GM(Infra), Shri D Shrikhande, GM(TS), Shri S Pandey, GM(C&M), Vice Presidents, Smt Shikha Rastogi & Smt Purnima Shrikhande, General Secretary, Smt Mansa Verma, Joint Secretary, Deepa Kumari, Treasurer, Smt Snigdha Rani Manjhi and Cultural Secretary, Smt T Parameswari, employees with family members & dignitaries were present.
