NTPC Swayamsiddha Ladies Club organises personality development workshop for children
New Delhi: As a part of the series of programme chalked out to celebrate India’s 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, NTPC Coal Mining Head Quarters organised a four days’ Workshop on Personality Development for children from 26th to 29th August,2021 in virtual mode. The workshop was conducted under the inspiration and guidance of Smt Kiran Singh, President, Sanyukta Mahila Samiti,New Delhi.
This is the first time that such a workshop for employee’s children on a large scale was organised in NTPC Coal Mining Region. The faculty of the workshop was Firoz Zahid Khan, Director, Fizzart, Mumbai. He is a well-known personality in the field of drama, plays and theatre and alumina of National School Drama.
The workshop was inaugurated by Smt Amita Bhattacharya, Sr.Member, Sanyukta Mahila Samiti in the august presence of Smt Anupama Srivastava, General Secretary of Bal Bhavan, New Delhi. During the four days program, Personality development, Sahaj Yog, meditation and emotional intelligence were covered.
Faculties of the workshop during the program imparted skills on Sahaj Yog and meditation for improvement of confidence level and imbibing a sense of peace and stability among the children. To make the workshop interactive, dance skills were also included as part of the workshop.
Smt Mahua Mazumder, President, Sawayamsiddha Ladies Club in her address during the valedictory session of the workshop, said that children have gained a lot from the workshop. She assured that in future also many such programs will be planned for the holistic development of children. On the occasion, Senior Office bearers of Ladies Club, Coal Mining Projects and were present on the occasion.
On concluding day of the workshop, to showcase the learning from the workshop, participants from projects of coal mining region presented skit, speeches, dance, singing and group performances.
