Oil India Limited Received 7th PSU Awards
New Delhi: Oil India Limited received 7th PSU AWARDS for its CSR initiatives in the field of Education & Skill Development from Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon’ble Minister.
Oil India Limited (OIL), a Navratna PSU, is a fully integrated Exploration & Production (E&P) company in the upstream sector and is the second largest national oil and gas company of India as measured by total proved plus probable oil and natural gas reserves and production in India. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and in their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis.
Arjun Ram Meghwal Minister of State in the ministries of Parliamentary Affairs, Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises. He earlier took charge as the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation in 2017 under the Narendra Modi cabinet.
