NEW DELHI: ONGC Director (Exploration) Sushma Rawat inaugurated a potable water supply scheme at Bagdhara Village, Cinnamara, Jorhat on May 15, 2023.

The project, which was approved during Director Sushma Rawat's tenure as the Basin Manager for Assam & Assam Arakan Basin, Jorhat, showcases her deep understanding of the community's needs and her steadfast dedication to community development.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by local residents, ONGC officials, and esteemed members of the community. The event marked a significant milestone in ONGC's ongoing efforts to improve the lives of the residents of Bagdhara Village.

The primary business of ONGC Videsh is to prospect for oil and gas acreages outside India, including exploration, development and production of oil and gas. The 15.0MMTPA (Million Metric Ton per annum) Refinery has got a versatile design with complex secondary processing units and a high flexibility to process Crudes of various API, delivering a variety of quality products. MRPL, with its parent company Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), owns and operates ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited (OMPL), a petrochemical unit capable of producing 0.905 MMTPA of Para Xylene and 0.273 MMTPA of Benzene.
