PESB selected Mr. J P Srivastava for BHEL's Director-Engineering, R&D post

New Delhi: Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Monday recommended the name of Mr. Jai Prakash Srivastava for the post of Director (Engineering, Research & Development), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). He is currently working as General Manager in the same company.
PESB interviewed these applicants in the selection meeting:

5 Mr. S B NAITHANI, General Manager, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL)
6 Mr. ABHYA NAND SINGH, General Manager, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL)

Moreover, Mr. SRIVASTAVA can assume the charge of the post, after the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) nod.
Jai Prakash Srivastava is an IITian, who completed his Bachelor of Engg, mechanical from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee which is a public technical university located in Roorkee, Haridwar district, Uttarakhand. He has been serving in BHEL for the past 36 years and has good hands in Manufacturing, Business Administration, Process Improvement, etc.
