PFC Extends Financial Assistance of Rs.1329 Crore to Uttarakhand
New Delhi: Power Finance Corporation Ltd (PFC) has extended financial assistance of Rs. 1329 crore to State Power Utilities of Uttarakhand – Rs. 309 crore to Uttaranchal Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd.(UJVNL) for RM&U of Chilla Hydroelectric Project, and Rs. 1020 crore to Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand (PTCUL) for implementation of various transmission schemes. In a Loan Documentation event organized recently in Dehradun, the loan documents for Chilla HEP and MOU for execution of Loan Documents for Rs. 817 crore were executed between PFC and Power utilities of Uttarakhand viz. UJVNL and PTCUL respectively, in presence of Smt. Radhika Jha, Secretary (Energy) and Chairperson, UJVNL & PTCUL, Shri. Rajeev Sharma, CMD, PFC and other senior officials from both sides. PTCUL had earlier executed loan documents for financial assistance amounting to Rs. 203 crore with PFC.
