Rozgar Mela: Prime Minister Modi will distribute 51,000 appointment letters to newly selected candidates

New Delhi, October 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly selected candidates during the upcoming Rozgar Mela on Friday. The event will take place via video conferencing and connect various locations across the country. This marks another significant step in the government’s ongoing effort to create jobs.
The Rozgar Mela is part of the central government’s ongoing push to provide job opportunities to young people and strengthen public sector institutions. Since it started, the program has handed out over 10 lakh appointment letters to recruits across different ministries and departments. The new positions include roles in departments such as Posts, Railways, Health, Home Affairs, Revenue, and Education.

He will point out that the selection process is entirely digital and based on merit. The Prime Minister will remind the new recruits that their jobs involve serving citizens with dedication and integrity. Under the Rozgar Mela initiative, all new appointees will have access to training through the Karmayogi Prarambh module on the iGOT Karmayogi platform.
