PNB awarded “BEST MSME BANK AWARD
New Delhi. Punjab National Bank was awarded “BEST MSME BANK AWARD” instituted by Chamber of Indian Micro Small and Medium Enterprises under Large Banks Category on April 20, 2017 at New Delhi.
Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs presented the award to Dr. Ram S. Sangapure, Executive Director of the Bank. Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Union Minister for Railways was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Minister of State for Minority Affairs & Parliamentary Affairs, Guest of Honour.
The award has been given to Punjab National Bank for its pioneering work towards facilitating the development of MSME entrepreneurs through its MSME schemes and products, particularly under ‘Mudra and Stand Up India’ schemes.
