New Delhi: Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi chaired the virtual meeting with Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology of India Ashwini Vaishnaw & Minister of Power of India Raj Kumar Singh, along with officers of Ministry of Coal, Government of India, CMDs & officials of coal companies to discuss improving coal stock at thermal power plants & resolved our commitment to fulfilling energy demands of the country.
He Further, reviewed Northern Coalfields Limited today, with the company's Chairman and Managing Director. He directed NCL to ramp up coal production and load at least 34 rakes per day and planted a sapling at Nigahi project of Northern Coalfields Limited. He further be visiting coal mines of NCL to interact with employees & motivate them to scale up coal excavation & dispatch.
He said, "By encouraging eco-friendly practices, we can increase the green cover around coal mines and make mining environmentally sustainable."
