Rajiv Agarwal took charge as Director-Technical of EIL
Prior to this he was serving as the Executive Director in Engineers India Limited.
New Delhi: Sh Rajiv Agarwal takes charge as Director (Technical) of Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), Engineers India Limited (EIL) in presence of Ms. Vartika Shukla, Chairman and Managing Director, Sh SK Handa, Director (Projects), Sh AK Kalra, Director (HR), Sh Sanjay Jindal, Director (Finance), Sh Atul Gupta, Director (Commercial) & senior officials.
Prior to this, he was serving as the Executive Director in the same company. Shri Rajiv Agarwal graduated in Chemical Engineering from IIT Roorkee. He joined EIL as Management Trainee in year 1988, with extensive technical and consulting experience across hydrocarbon value chain.
He has served EIL in various capacities and led successful implementation of many prestigious projects in Oil & Gas and Fertilizer sectors. During his illustrious career spanning over 33 years, he has led design of mega refineries & petrochemical projects, Gas Processing complex & Fertilizer Projects.
He has led teams of Process Design, R&D, Environment, Water & Safety and other divisions of the company and is also leading company’s initiative in the sunshine areas like Green Hydrogen, Biofuels, Net Zero interventions, Renewables, etc.
