Revenue receipts fall by Rs 5000 crore in Jharkhand
The State government's earnings on the same financial year (2019-20) stood at Rs 35,068.82 crore.

Ranchi: The government of Jharkhand latest showed a major fall in the revenue receipts and taxes. Between April 1 and October 31, 2020, the total receipts cost Rs 30,753.27 crore, the State government's earnings on the same financial year (2019-20) stood at Rs 35,068.82 crore.
The revenue receipts and tax revenue from direct and indirect taxes are Rs 27,534.23 crore and Rs 17,699.43 crore, respectively. And continuing with the earnings from its share of central taxes, showed as Rs 9,845.43 crore, which fell by Rs 1,670.62 crore from last year.
The other state's tax revenues which include excise duty, SGST, stamp duty, land revenue, and registrations among others, have a sharp fell of Rs 983.13 crore and stood at Rs 7,586.4 crore. The earnings through non-tax revenue stood at Rs 9,834.8 crore.
State Finance minister Rameshwar Oraon had tabled an Rs 85,000 crore budget in March this year for the 2020-21 FY and pegged the fiscal growth at 7.2%. But the government spending till now has been only 30 percent from the budget and the rest 86 percent is still to be used. Due to the issues in procurement of raw materials and poawer during the lockdown, it delayed the processing in speeding.
