Rural Roads in Tripura under implementation by HSCL
Hindustan Steelworks Construction limited has been one of the major PIUs in Tripura for implementation of rural roads and bridges under PMGSY in the remote corner of two districts, North and Dhalai. Out of 1080 km under implementation by HSCL in the State , 740 km has already been completed and made open to commuters . 3.5 km road links from Santipur to Bhandarima has recently constructed traversing inaccessible hilly terrains and dense forest. This road links has as many as 14 culverts and one 27mtr RCC bridge continuing villagers adjoining to Bangladesh to around roadways to the state capital.
