NEW DELHI- Steel Authority of India Limited has been at the forefront of promoting and adopting new technologies. The new Experiential lab at SAIL's MTI Ranchi is one such step.
SAIL has signed MoU with IIT Madras for establishing Extended Reality (XR) Experiential Lab at MTI, Ranchi. The one-of-its-kind XR Lab would provide the stakeholders with an immersive experience of VR, AR & MR opening up new vistas in the L&D domain of SAIL.
The MoU was signed yesterday by Sri Sanjeev Kumar, ED (HRD), SAIL & Prof. Manu Santanam, Dean(IC&SR) at Centre for Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research (IC&SR), IIT Madras in the august presence of Sri Prakash Damodaran, IAS(Ret’d)-IT architect of modern India.
