Sambit Patra appointed as ITDC`s Chairman
Sambit Patra's appointment as Part-Time Non-Executive Director and Chairman of ITDC is for three year period from the date of assumption of charge.

New Delhi: Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Wednesday appointed the National spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party Sambit Patra as the chairman of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC).
An official order states that ACC approved the Tourism Ministry’s proposal to split the post of chairman and managing director of India Tourism Development Corporation into chairman, ITDC, and managing director (MD), ITDC.
Back in 2017 Patra has been appointed as an independent director of the board of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).
Further ACC took some other major proposals of the Ministry of Tourism, approved the decision of splitting the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) into two posts of Chairman, ITDC, and Managing Director (MD) ITDC;
Sambit Patra's appointment as Part-Time Non-Executive Director and Chairman of ITDC is for three year period from the date of assumption of charge.
