Shri Shashidhar Jagdishan took charges as new MD and CEO of HDFC Bank
Jagdishan also comes to handed over the ceremony and both Jagdishan and Puri addressed their colleagues virtually. In his speech, Puri reminisced about the journey of building the bank which focused on the centrality of the employees, while Jagdishan affirmed to carry his legacy forward and thanked his boss, they said.

Mumbai: Yesterday Shri Aditya Puri handed over the charge of MD and CEO to Shashidhar Jagdishan as the new managing director and chief executive of the biggest private lender. Aditya Puri stepped down at 5:30 yesterday from the HDFC's corporate headquater.
Aditya Puri gives his 25 years to the HDFC Bank first he started as the bank's first head and built the lender which now employs close to 1.20 lakh people.
Jagdishan also comes to handed over the ceremony and both Jagdishan and Puri addressed their colleagues virtually.
