MoU Between IGL and ALIMCO
New Delhi: Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) signed MoU on 25.08.2017 at New Delhi for Rs.75 Lakhs for Distribution of Aids and Assistive Devices to Persons with Disabilities at Delhi, Gautam Budha Nagar and Ghaziabad Districts under the CSR initiative of IGL in the presence of Shri V. Nagarajan, Director-Commercial & Shri D.R. Sarin, CMD, ALIMCO.
IGL, incorporated in 1998, is the largest CNG distribution company of the country supplying CNG and PNG to Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
ALIMCO is a“Not For Profit” Central Public Sector Undertaking working under the administrative control of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India and has been manufacturing various types of aids & appliances on mass scale to meet the requirements of the Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), across the country.
As per the MoU signed between ALIMCO and IGL, Distribution camps will be organized at Delhi, Gautam Budha Nagar and Ghaziabad for an estimated cost of Rs75 Lakhs. In the Distribution Camps artificial limbs, aids & appliances such as Tricycle, Wheel Chairs, BTE Hearing Aids, CrutchAxila Adjustable, Braile Cane, MSIED Kit, Braille Kit etc. to Persons with Disabilities will be distributed.
