NEW DELHI- NHPC, Teesta-V Power Station has organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on 19.07.2022 at Project Hospital, Balutar with Technical Support of Blood Bank, District Hospital, Singtam in Collaboration with State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC), Gangtok.
Shri C R Das, HOP, Teesta-V Power Station stated that the Blood Donation Camp is being organized with an aim to create awareness on Blood Donation and its benefits in locality.
He appreciated all the Blood Donors for coming forward to donate their blood to save the lives of others. He also thanked Dr. Satarupa Bhattacharjee, CMO and all doctors & staff of Teesta-V Project Hospital and Dr. Deki, Blood Bank Officer along with the staff from District Hospital, Singtam and staff of SBTC for organizing & providing their support during the camp and making the event a grand success.
More than 27 donors have contributed voluntarily for the noble cause. The donated blood will be utilized for patients who will require blood in Singtam Hospital and Surrounding areas of Teesta-V Power Station.
