The Institution Of Engineers Celebrated the 52nd Engineers Day at Angul
Angul: The Institution Of Engineers(India) Angul Local Centre observed the 52nd Engineers' Day on 15.9.19 at its centre at Smelter & Power Complex of NALCO, Angul, Odisha. On this occasion a National Seminar on the theme- Engineers for Change was also organised. Er V Balasubramanyam Dir. Production of NALCO graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Speaking to Engineers Sri Balasubramanyam encouraged all to embrace change.
The change must be sustainable and beneficial to society at large. Engineers play a pivotal role in adoption and absorption of technology and should take into account rapidly increasing population. ED(S&P) NALCO Er M P Mishra, Er Y Pattnaik VP NBVL, Prof Sunil Ku Sarangi, Dr Arun Kr Rath were the Guests of Honor. Dr Suresh Ch Satpathy Prof. KIIT Deemed University delivered the key note address. Big industrial houses like ABB, DELTA,ROCKWELL AUTOMATION, ELGIN Systems, Honeywell, SIKA, Asian Paints etc participated in the seminar.
