Union Power Minister RK Singh visits NHPC Dulhasti Power Station
New Delhi: Shri R.K. Singh, Hon'ble Union Minister for Power, New and Renewable Energy, along with Shri S. K. G. Rahate, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power, Government of India, Shri Rohit Kansal, Principal Secretary, PDD, J&K and Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC visited the Dam Complex of Dulhasti Power Station.
Hon'ble Union Minister, Power, New and Renewable Energy Shri R. K. Singh and other dignitaries were welcomed by Shri Nirmal Singh, General Manager (In-Charge), Dulhasti Power Station with bouquet on their arrival at the dam premises. Thereafter, all the dignitaries were accorded a grand welcome by other senior officers and employees of Dulhasti Power Station. Hon'ble Minister was accorded ceremonial Guard of Honor by Central Industrial Security Force personnel.
On this occasion, Hon'ble Minister inspected the dam complex and took stock of the operation of the power station. Shri Nirmal Singh, General Manager (In-Charge), Dulhasti Power Station explained about the power station operation in detail to the Hon'ble Minister.
During this, Shri Ashok Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, Shri Shafkat Bhat, Senior Superintendent of Police, Kishtwar, Dr. Nisha Sharma, General Manager (Medical Services), Shri Surendra Kumar Mishra, General Manager (Electrical), Shri R.P. Singh, Deputy General Manager (HR), Shri G.C. Sinha, Deputy General Manager (Power), Mr Gursharan Singh, Deputy General Manager (Power), Mr Ashok Kumar Dhanwal, Senior Manager (HR) along with officers and employees of Dulhasti Power Station, District Administration, CVPPPL and Ratle Hydroelectric Power Corporation were present.
