WCL provides Rs 30 Cr Financial assistance for installation of escalators in Mumbai
Nagpur: Western Coalfields Limited on behalf of Coal India Limited has given financial assistance of Rs. 30 Crores to Railway Authorities for installation of escalators in Mumbai Suburban Railway Stations.
Mumbai city Suburban Railway Stations escalators are expected to serve about forty two lakh passengers every day including old, physically challenged and children.
The project is being undertaken by Central Railways and some escalators are to be installed in the region of Western Railway also.
