WIPS – VSP Celebrated Children s Day
Vishakhapatnam: Shri KC Das, Director (Personnel), RINL inaugurated Children’s day celebrations at Ukkunagaram. WIPS wing of RINL-VSP organized Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and fervour at MP Hall, Ukkunagaram. More than 500 children from schools of Ukkunagaram participated in the celebrations.
Speaking on this occasion, Shri Das talked about the importance of children’s wellbeing as a foundation to a great nation and also stressed upon their happiness. We want children to be healthy and happy as they are the pillars of our future and teaching them about meditation in their early age would definitely help them, he added.
To make the event more meaning a lecture session on ‘Happy Living – Life Values’ was also organized through volunteers of ‘Heartful Global Institute, Visakhapatnam. Several techniques were taught to the children on how to be more relaxed by sitting calm and concentrating on breathing, by Mrs G Sailaja, Coordinator of the institute. The other three volunteers Mr VRS Naga Sarma, Mrs. Rama Vidya Sagar, Mrs MV Sarda dealt on the aspects of Goal, Strength and Courage to help the children to be more focused.
Sri RV Rao, ED (CS), Smt. V Padmavathi, WIPS coordinator and women employees in large numbers attended the function.
