Highlighting the focus on emerging industries, also known as sunrise sectors, PM Modi said the strong support provided in this budget is unprecedented, signaling a transformative push for India’s manufacturing and innovation ecosystem.

The budget aims to provide policy and financial support to sectors such as green energy, electric vehicles, semiconductors, biotechnology, and advanced electronics, ensuring that India continues to attract global investment and technological expertise.
Analysts say this emphasis on sunrise sectors could accelerate industrial growth, create a resilient supply chain, and help India become a major hub for high-tech manufacturing in the coming decade.
PM Modi’s remarks underline the government’s commitment to innovation, self-reliance, and sustainable economic growth, positioning Budget 2026 as a landmark in India’s industrial development journey.
