PM Modi inaugurates Linear Accelerator in Varanasi as CSR initiative of Power Grid
The total cost of the radiotherapy machine is Rs 26.42 crore, and it will be beneficial for treatment of cancer patients, enabling more effective and targeted therapy.
New Delhi: The Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has inaugurated and dedicated a Linear Accelerator (Radiotherapy Machine) established under CSR initiative of POWERGRID at Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Institute, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
On this occasion, Shri Shiv Tapasya Paswan, Independent Director, Shri Yugesh Kumar Dixit, ED (NR-III) POWERGRID were present.
The total cost of the radiotherapy machine is Rs 26.42 crore, and it will be beneficial for treatment of cancer patients, enabling more effective and targeted therapy. Under its CSR initiatives, POWERGRID is implementing projects worth approx. Rs 240 crore in Uttar Pradesh.
