In order to seek equal opportunities, the Coal India I.T.I employees are demanding equal treatment regarding the Smart Phone Scheme and looking forward towards a balanced treatment from high-level personnel.

Coal India ITI employees union seeks equal opportunity regarding Smart Phone Scheme 2025
Coal India I.T.I employees Association, which is affiliated to the Centre of Indian Trade Unions and Federation, has sanctioned a complaint letter to the Chairman and Managing Director of Coal India to treat every category of employees in an equal manner and thus provide affordable opportunities for all working staff.
Under the CIL/C5A/Smartphone Scheme 2025 dated 11.07.2025, the state-owned PSU is providing incentives for buying smartphones, and this opportunity is applicable only to high-class officials and Grade A Officers. However, the employees working as Apprentices, Trade Interns and other I.T.I-backed technical fields are not included in this Scheme and are feeling left out.

Therefore, in order to seek equal opportunities, the employees are demanding for equal treatment regarding the Smart Phone Scheme and looking forward towards a balanced treatment from high-level personnel.
The Trade Union has specified that they are not intended to offend the working members, but only want a basic equal opportunity and treatment to encourage themselves towards their respective organization.
The employees are expected to get same incentives and respect to feel as a part of this large public sector organization.
