New Delhi – Shri Sanjay Swarup, CMD of Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR), launched the company’s first-ever Bill of Lading (BL) for export cargo carried in CONCOR’s own container. The shipment, bound for Southeast Asia, marks several key milestones for the company:

  • First overseas reefer movement using CONCOR’s own container.

  • First Bill of Lading issued by CONCOR.

  • First direct movement by CONCOR to a Southeast Asian port.

The initiative leverages CONCOR’s unified digital system, enabling effortless online BL creation and end-to-end cargo visibility for customers.

 

This step reflects CONCOR’s focus on forward integration of its logistics services, strengthening its core competencies, and providing enhanced solutions for exporters and importers. The move is expected to improve efficiency, transparency, and reliability in international freight operations.
