New Delhi: The Hon'ble Defence Minister, Rajnath Singhji on Monday inaugurated "Bharat Drone Sakthi 2023", a two-day exhibition, being organised by the Indian Air Force and Drone Federation of India at Hindan Air Force Station, Ghaziabad.

The Hon'ble Raksha Mantri visited the BEL stall at the event and had a look at the products being exhibited.

Mr Manoj Kumar, Executive Director (NM/IMD), and Mr Rajneesh Sharma, GM (MR), briefed the Hon'ble RM on the company’s expertise in the field of Unmanned Aerial and Surface Systems and Anti-Drone Systems.

BEL is showcasing its capabilities in developing and implementing advanced technologies that can detect, classify, deteriorate and destroy drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

These indigenous technologies include specialised Drone Detection Radar, RF Detector and Jammer, Electro-Optics systems, and Laser Directed Energy Weapon System.

These systems are crucial for ensuring the safety of the nation as drones are increasingly being used by adversaries to gather sensitive information.
