New Delhi: ERLDC, Grid-India Team led by Shri. R.Sutradhar, Executive Director of ERLDC visited Haldia Energy Limited (HEL) 2X300 MW Thermal Power Station at Baneswarchak, Haldia, West Bengal on 1st June 2023.
Haldia units began commercial operation from January 2015 onwards. HEL is in a long-term power purchase agreement with CESC Limited, a power distribution licensee for the state capital Kolkata and its suburbs.

There was a detailed discussion with the Regulatory Team from the corporate office and the Operation Team of HEL which was also attended by the plant Head.
The excellent performance of HEL in primary response as well as Reactive support was also deliberated and appreciated.
