Govt's green signal to ESI super specialist hospital in BHEL's Sonagiri
In the first phase, a 150-bed hospital will be opened, later it will be made 300-bed, this work will be seen by specialist doctors.
Bhopal: Big news for the people of Govindpura Vidhan Sabha constituency, the government approved the Employees State Insurance (ESI) Specialist Hospital on the lines of Indore. The process of opening has started.
With this, lakhs of workers will be able to get better treatment facilities, while the benefit of specialist doctors will also be available. The hospital will cover around 300 beds. The corporation will provide complete treatment in this super-specialist hospital at its own expense.
According to the sources, this hospital will be started in the State Insurance Hospital located in Sonagir, will be built in an area of four hectares. It is expected to be open by April 1, 2022. At present, three and a half lakh insured workers are being told in the Bhopal region.
With the opening of this super-specialist hospital, lakhs of workers will get a high-level medical facility, as well as the deployment of doctors, medical and paramedical staff, which will be done according to all the standards of the central government. The financial burden on Employees' State Insurance Services will also be less as the expenditure on Super Specialist Hospital will be borne directly by the Corporation.
