GAIL Director HR Shri Ayush Gupta Chairs Session on Evolution of Labour Laws in India
Shri Ayush Gupta, Director HR GAIL, chaired a session on labour law reforms at the national conference in New Delhi, highlighting ease of doing business with worker protection.
Shri Ayush Gupta, Director (HR), GAIL (India) Limited, chaired a thought-provoking session on “Evolution of Labour Laws in India – Key Issues in the Existing Regime” during the Conference on Labour Law Reforms in India: Navigating a Way Forward Against the Headwinds, held on 4th September 2025 at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi.
The session featured distinguished panellists: Shri Anil Anandrao Dhumne, State President, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Maharashtra; Ms. Rajashree, Partner, Grant Thornton Bharat LLP; and Shri Vinod Behari, CEO, Right Men Services (India) Pvt. Ltd.

In his address, Shri Ayush Gupta emphasized that “ease of doing business” must go hand in hand with protecting the “interests of workers”, while encouraging a culture of continuous improvement. He underlined that the global economy is rapidly evolving, shaped by technological progress, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML), and stressed that reforms must keep pace with these changes.
