NMDC Ltd hikes Prices for Iron Ore Production from 1 August 2025

New Delhi, 1 August 2025: State-owned NMDC Ltd has announced the Price Changes from 1 August 2025. The Mining PSU has hiked the prices for its Iron ore production. Therefore, the iron ore prices for August with lump ore have risen by Rs 450 per tonne to Rs 6,850, while prices for fines are hiked by Rs 400/ton to Rs 5,250 per tonne.

This come as a big relief for NMDC Ltd production holders as the company has been cutting the fixed price for consecutive few months.

NMDC Ltd had announced around 9% price drop for its iron ore produce for the month of July 2025. The price has been set for lump (65.5%, 10-40 mm) iron ore at Rs 5,700 per ton, down from Rs 6,300 per ton in June 2025.

The Fines (64%, -10 mm) iron ore price had been reduced to Rs 4,850/- per ton, down from Rs 5,350 per ton in June 2025.

This price hike will expectedly support the operating margin. The moves are likely to have a positive impact on revenue and EBITDA for the September quarter.
