NTPC Bongaigaon commits itself towards renewable energy
NTPC Bongaigaon has recently awarded the contract for a rooftop solar system (900 KWp) and as part of the same, the first phase was inaugurated at the Coal Bhawan of NTPC Bongaigaon.
Bongaigaon: Shri Anil Kumar Pandey, Red (ER-II and WR-I) inaugurated the rooftop solar system at NTPC Bongaigaon on 3rd February 2021 during his review to the station and reiterated the commitment of the station towards renewable energy.
NTPC Bongaigaon has recently awarded the contract for a rooftop solar system (900 KWp) and as part of the same, the first phase was inaugurated at the Coal Bhawan of NTPC Bongaigaon. The power generated from the system will be used for internal consumption. The rest of the locations will be installed in a phased manner.

Chawla AGM (HR) and officials of the Deptt were present.
