NTPC CMD Reviews Projects
ANGUL: The CMD of NTPC Limited Gurdeep Singh was on a two-day visit to the Odisha to review the progress of power projects.The NTPC CMD flew in a chopper from Ranchi to Darliparli Super Thermal Power Project in Lefripara block of Sundargarh district on Friday. He reviewed the under-construction project.
Accompanied by Director (Projects) SC Pandey, Regional Executive Director (ER-II) Arvind Kumar and Darliparli Group General Manager Pramod Kumar, Singh visited the Height Pass Rig Structure site, water reservoir, raw water pumping house, central control room site and reviewed the work progress. He also flagged off Turbine Generator-1 work and inaugurated overhead electric crane and construction stores.
During a visit to R&R Colony at Kheradega village, he donated three water filters to displaced families and announced distribution of 1,000 water filters for project affected persons, neighbourhood schools, orphanages and shelter homes for the old.
On Saturday, Singh visited Talcher Thermal Power Station at Kaniha before leaving for the State Capital.
