NTPC Green Energy Commissions 25 MW Solar Project in Bhuj

NTPC Green Energy Limited has commenced commercial operations of a 25 MW solar project in Bhuj Gujarat. With this addition the NTPC Group’s total installed capacity has reached 83,366 MW.

NTPC Green Energy Commissions 25 MW Solar Project in Bhuj

New Delhi, September 2, 2025. NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, announced the start of commercial operations for a 25 megawatt (MW) solar project in Bhuj, Gujarat, effective September 2, 2025.

This project is part of a 150 MW solar installation being developed by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power. Ayana Renewable Power is a joint venture partner of ONGC and NTPC Green

With this new project, the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC Group has increased to 83,366 MW. NGEL’s renewable portfolio has also grown with the addition of this 25 MW capacity.

The development was reported to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. The filings were digitally signed by NTPC’s Executive Director (Finance) Aditya Dar on September 2, 2025, and NGEL’s Company Secretary Manish Kumar on September 1, 2025.
